Declaration on the use of cookies

What cookies are

Cookies are short text files created by a web server and saved to your computer through the browser. If you go back to the same web later, the browser sends the saved cookies back and the server thus gets all information saved by it to your computer before. Cookies are used by the absolute majority of webs for their activity.

How cookies are divided

Cookies can be divided by the party that saves them to your computer, which means into:

  • First party cookies – their validity is limited to the domain of the web that you are viewing. These cookies are deemed to be safer.
  • Third party cookies – are placed using a script from another domain. Users can thus be monitored across domains. They are often used to evaluate the efficiency of advertising channels.

Cookies can be divided by their durability into:

  • Session cookies – These are deleted from your computer on closing the browser.
  • Persistent cookies – They remain on closing the browser and are deleted only after the lapse of a very long time (which depends on your browser settings and cookie settings). You can also remove them manually.

What cookies are used for

Our web uses the following cookies:

Technical – first party, season. They ensure the basic technical functionality of the web, i.e. logging in, using services, etc.

Google Analytics – first party, persistent. They are used to generate anonymous statistics on using the web.

Hotjar – first party, season and persistent. To analyse the number of visits and improve the controllability of this web, we use the Hotjar tool.

We never put sensitive or personal data in cookies.

How the use of cookies can be adjusted

Deleting

You can delete cookies in your browser – usually placed in the history of visited pages.

Blocking

Browsers enable to block placing cookies to your computer. In such case the functionality of the web will be reduced. Information about the cookie file saving settings in your browser is on the web of the provider of the specific browser:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Internet Explorer
  • Android

For additional information on cookies and their use see the web AboutCookies.org
