The vineyard is situated on a west-facing slope. The soil is modal black earth, which is black earth formed on thick wind-blown loess and sand, with a higher content of lime. The soils are pervious, and the slopes retain heat. These soils bring forth wines with a unique expression which gives the wines the ripening potential in the first two years. Their smells are markedly fruit and fresh. The taste is harmonic and persistent.
